CSG Talent are currently looking for a Plant Maintenance Supervisor with experience in quarry operations including rock, gravel, cement and other construction materials. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for measuring and improving key metrics which includes safety, productivity, resources, and labor.

This role is perfect for someone with a desire to work on 7 days on 7 days off schedule and it comes with with a competitive base salary between $100,000 - $120,000 and bonus up to 20% The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills and competencies.

Purpose of the Role

Plant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the day-to-day maintenance, installation, and repair of plant equipment and machinery; and for supervising and supporting the maintenance personnel.

About You

Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

Red Seal Certification. A millwright is ideal. Trades Qualification, or Engineering educational background

Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role

Heavy industry manufacturing experience like mining, aggregates, cement, petrochemical

Accountabilities

  • Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, schedule and security requirements
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and machinery.
  • Oversee training and supervision of staff in conjunction with the Training department.
  • Meet departmental KPI's including availability and schedule compliance.
  • Work closely with other entities of Maintenance and the site to support business and growth.
  • Supporting the Maintenance Managing the daily activities of the Maintenance Department
  • Guiding, coaching & mentorship of Maintenance employees
  • Demonstrating continuous efforts to improve procedures
  • Managing crews and job tasks
  • Generate daily Maintenance Reports
